The dfcu foundation Climate Smart Agriculture and Mitigations Pilot is an aBi Funded project where dfcu foundation is piloting the implementation of Climate Smart Agriculture Technologies and practices among 30 Farmer Based Organizations (FBOs) within Eastern Uganda and Western Uganda. Here, over 1000 smallholder farmers are to be reached with a target of increasing incomes and creating employment.
Through this project, dfcu foundation is partnering with Yo-Waste and Makerere Incubation and Innovation Centre to Pilot an App for Waste management, as well as Different Solar and Alternative Energy Companies to pilot Efficient Energy Stoves and solar products as part of the mitigation for Climate Change.
